Iced Tea made with tea bags is easy and can be made in various flavor combinations. It is possible to make fruity iced drinks that match the decor of a brunch or sweeten your Tea with sweetened teas. You can also mix sweetened teas with southern-inspired dishes. Or, you can make smooth, delicious vanilla-flavored teas. Learn how to select suitable tea bags and make delicious iced Tea.
Step 1 – Make the Tea. Take 3-4 black tea bags to make a standard iced chai infusion. Any black tea can be used. Ceylon and Keemun are the best because they don’t become cloudy after cooling.
Step 2 Heat water
Follow the same steps as for regular hot teapots to prepare iced Tea. Place 2 cups of Water into a saucepan or pot on the stove. Bring the Water to a boil. Turn off the heat. Add the black tea bags immediately to the boiling Water. Black teas can be made with water temperatures between 200F and 212F. You can use Darjeeling or other delicate black teas by heating the Water to 180 F or 190 F.
Use a tea kettle with temperature control or a thermometer to measure the hot Water temperature on the stove. This will give you the best results. Some black teas, although not as sensitive to temperature as green teas, can develop an unpleasant taste if they are brewed too hot.
Step 3 – Defrost
Allow the tea bags to steep for 3 to 5 minutes. The Tea will become bitter if left to steep for more than five minutes. To achieve the desired flavor, steep for three minutes and taste every 30 seconds.
Step 4 – Add more Water.
After the Tea has been brewed, please put it in a saucepan and allow it to cool down for five to ten minutes. Add 2 cups of chilled Water to the pot when the Tea has reached room temperature. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to mix.
Step 5: Enjoy and serve!
After the Tea has cooled, pour ice cubes into the glasses to serve. To make the Tea an Arnold Palmer, add 1 cup of lemon juice. Garnish with mint leaves and lemon slices.
2-Vanilla iced Tea
Vanilla blends are great for creamy iced teas. Our Earl Grey Cream Tea is a blend of black Tea, French vanilla, and bergamot. For a sweeter and smoother iced tea, the vanilla flavor is counteracted by the bitterness of the black Tea.
Step 1 Make the tea bags and let them steep.
As you would for regular iced Tea, heat 4 cups of Water in the pot. You can use regular or vanilla-flavored tea bags or add 3 to 4 vanilla-flavored tea bags. Allow the Tea to steep for about 1 to 2 minutes before pouring it into a saucepan and letting it cool down for 2 hours.
Step 2 – Flavoring
Add one tablespoon lemon juice or squeeze a whole lemon into the pot. To sweeten, add one tablespoon of simple syrup to the pot. You can also use honey or granulated sugar. These sweeteners will not dissolve in cold Water. Add a small amount of vanilla ice cream to each cup before you pour the iced Tea.

3 Hibiscus tea bags, or two teaspoons of Egyptian Hibiscus Tea.
1 cup blackberries
1 cup pomegranate seed
One handful of fresh mint leaves

Bring Water to boil in a large saucepan on the stove.
Take the tea bags and Tea leaves out of the heat. Allow the Tea to steep for at least one hour.
Use a wooden spoon to lightly mash the blackberries, mint leaves, and pomegranates in a large glass container.

Step 1 – Black Iced Tea

Step 2 Add fruit and sweeten.
Add 1/2 cup sugar to the black Tea for a sweeter cup of fruit tea. Next, chop about 1 cup of the fruit you choose and add it to your black Tea.
